Design: Adata’s design is probably it’s major selling point. It is waterproof; in fact they have tested the same by putting it under water for 60 minutes at 2 meters depth.
It comes to up to mark with the standard US military standards to tolerate shocks easily.
Exterior build has three layers of protection: tough silicone after which a shock absorbing buffer is there which covers a tough plastic shell, which is enough to protect you from the extreme forms of damage there is.
Type: It is an external HDD with 1 TB storage and 3 years of warranty.
Storage: They have tied up with G-shock to offer something new but crucial: the HDD has an sensor which in the case of sensing shocks directly stops all the drive operations and resumes when it senses its appropriate to.
There’s an attached button with different colors to signify different status of the device.
Performance: Performance is up to the mark, with average speeds of 130 Mb/s for USB 3.0 port and up-to 20 MB/s for 2.0 port.
Additional Features: It provides a small little groove on the shell. When cable is detached, it can easily be woven around the device hassle-free.
A very small tweak, but it helps you to take care of cables in a proper manner. There’s also an waterproof port cover which takes off all your worries of possibility that water might get inside.
- Good build design which is shockproof and waterproof.
- Provides cap for port, which helps in waterproofing.
- Amazing cable management to go with the HDD.
- Transfer speed varies often, fluctuates at times.
