Design and Display: Samsung Galaxy E5 is a smart phone from the familiar galaxy family. It has its familiar look and shape like other galaxy devices.
The dimensions are width 70.2 mm, height 141.6 mm and depth 7.3 mm. The device has 5 inch (12.7 cm) screen size.
The display is HD type and the display resolution of it is 720 x 1280 pixels, with 16 M display colors.
The build of the device is very similar to other galaxy devices and the display quality is decent type.
Performance: The device has a Quad core processor with clocking speed 1.2 GHz. The OS which is available in it is Android KitKat 4.4.4.
The device’s processor is average but the OS available is somewhat backdated in comparison to latest android devices.
Storage and RAM: The smart phone has 16 GB internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 64 GB using its dedicated microSD card slot.
The RAM available in the device is 1.5 GB. The phones’ internal storage and RAM is low for playing big games but can be enough for normal usage.
Battery and Connectivity: The product has 2400 mAh battery as power source. It is a 3G device. It supports UMTS and GSM networks.
The other connectivity options are USB (version 2), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (version 4) and EDGE. The available battery in this device is low for a whole day use.
Camera: The smart phone has 8MP primary camera, with features like Auto Focus, Geo-Tagging, Touch Focus, and Face Detection.
The secondary camera is of 5 MP. The primary camera can record full HD videos.
The cameras of the device work well in day light but in low light or night photography performance is not good.
Additional Features: This is very basic smart phone. The device is a dual sim stand by facility.
IT has 1 year’s manufacturing warranty and 6 months’ warranty for the accessories. The phone supports a few formats of audio and video files.

This is a little backdated phone so the features available in it are out dated. If someone wants to compare it with latest devices then it will be unfair comparison. But if someone who is not so tech savvy and don’t care about the latest features, rather use it only for basic works and nominal gaming and multimedia use, then this could be a good purchase.
