Design: Lumx offers 2 ton 3 star split AC, which has a very good-looking indoor unit. There is a display on the centre of the front panel of the indoor unit, which shows the running temperature and modes on the AC.

The indoor unit has a weight of 14 kg (1030 mm x 320 mm x 250 mm) and the outdoor unit has 40 kg weight (855 mm x 600 mm x 375 mm). The remote has neither backlit LCD nor nightglow buttons available.

Performance: This AC has decent performance on cooling. It has aluminium made condenser coil and rotary type compressor.

It uses R22 type gas as a refrigerant that is harmful to nature and threat to the ozone layer at the atmosphere. The indoor unit of this AC is noisy.

There is blue pre-coated aluminium fin in the evaporator and MCHX (aluminium) type fin in the condenser.
