APC BX1100C UPS Review
Build and Design: The APC BX1100C UPS is a tower model which has a very attractive look.
It weighs 7Kgs and there are two buttons, one for powering on the device and another battery saver button along with a led indicator with various lighting patterns to indicate different events.
There are vents on the sides and back for cooling and below two protruding edges, which provides better stability to the UPS while it is in standing position.
Type: The product is a line interactive UPS and allows few power anomalies through.
The inverter has a dual role of charging battery when the mains supply is present, while regulating the voltage and works as a normal inverter when mains power is absent.
Capacity and Power: The APC BX1100C comes with a high capacity of 12V/7AH, providing output wattage of 660W.Taking an input of 230V it provides an output voltage of 230V.
Battery Backup: There are two replaceable batteries which take 4-6 hours to fully charge and provide an average of about 15mins of backup time, depending upon the specifications of the appliance it is associated with.
Additional Features: The APC BX1100C is compatible with low power loads, for instance Wi-Fi routers, DSL modems. A beeper delay feature ensures it stays quiet during changeover from mains to generator.
The battery saver option conserves the overall battery life.
