TP-Link Archer C1200 Router Review

This router is a wireless router and this router comes without a modem. The black colour on it gives it a classy appearance.
Performance: Performance wise this router is one good competitor of the others in the market. The router is a very able product.
This is a dual band router and for this one enjoys the benefit of connecting according to one’s requirement. The band frequencies of the router are 2.4 GHz and 5GHz respectively. The wireless speed of the router appears to be 1200Mbps.
Connectivity: Connectivity of a device is a real important thing. This router will definitely not let anyone down when it comes to its connectivity. The router is provided with 3 external antennas.
This router has got 4 LAN ports and is provided with 1 WAN port. In the region of USB sharing it supports Samba (storage), media server, FTP server and printer server.
Security: This router has got the SPI firewall and this firewall always tries it best to protect the user information. It has got MAC address filter and IP and MAC address binding.
This router also looks after encryption and in this section it has got 64/128 bit WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption.

This router comes with a 3 years carry in warranty and the warranty covers all types of manufacturing defects. The warranty covers only the main unit.

This router is surely a good product but the range of the product appears a bit disappointing. The C1200 is having a quite reasonable price tag. If one intends to use the device within a short range then this product will surely rank itself way far from the others. The router gets a bit heated up due to continuous use. The router stands good for normal use.
