Canon EF-S 10 - 18 mm Lens Review
Introduction: Canon EF-S 10 - 18 mm Lens is a tiny looking wide angle lens with the maximum focal length 18mm and the minimum is 10mm. The lens is very compact and easy to carry.
The outer layer is made of plastic but it has a very specific look and design in spite of its cheap price. The zoom is quite smooth and easy to handle. The STM autofocus works very smoothly. The mechanism of its focus is quite impressive too.
Performance: This impressive looking lens has a great stabilization facility while you shoot a video. Even when you do still photography the stabilization works really well. The focus of the lens is good but it would not give a better zooming experience.
When we talk about the image quality, the sharpness in the middle is quite good but at the corners, it becomes very smooth, still, it remains decent. But when we increase the aperture the sharpness of the image increases at the corners.
Compatibility: This lens is not compatible with expensive Canon cameras. It works really well with the lower price ranged-Canons.
Additional features: The lens gives an average performance in the low light. The bokeh is quite smooth in the lens.
